Graphic Designer
Function
Responsible for the computer and/or traditional execution of finished print material under the supervision of the Creative Director (CD). Depending on Art Department requirements and personal aptitude, assignments will vary from finished art preparation to creation of original material.
Responsibilities
- Prepare computer disks and/or traditional designs used to produce print advertising.
- Work from rough drafts or instructions to prepare TV storyboards or comprehensive layouts.
- Maintain art studio equipment and computers, and order supplies.
- Mat, clean, and mount layouts and finished art.
- Maintain computer files as well as hard copy files of artwork, mechanicals, proofs, etc.
- Specify type styles and sizes for printed matter with approval of CD
- Design logos and collateral materials as directed.
- Assist the CD in all facets of project development, but lack the necessary business experience to work unsupervised.
- Be knowledgeable and proficient in emerging computer tools and techniques with advertising and/or graphics applications. Actively share such knowledge with others in the creative department.

- Assignments are completed on time and conform with instructions.
- Graphic standards are maintained or exceeded in all work.
- Relationships with co-workers are harmonious and productive.
- Adherence to agency policy and instructions.
